GENERAL SERVICE
General Service
Pretty much everything you’d call a major home or light commercial appliance: cooling (fridges, freezers, ice makers, wine and beverage centers), laundry (washers, dryers), cooking (ovens, ranges, cooktops, microwaves), dishwashers, range hoods, garbage disposals, trash compactors, and commercial kitchen and laundry equipment—the works. See refrigerator repair or the full service list if you’re unsure.
We service most standard and premium brands. If you’re unsure about your exact model, contact us and we’ll confirm before we put you on the schedule—saves everyone a wasted trip.
That’s the whole point. Truck rolls to your driveway; we diagnose and fix where the machine lives. No loading a fridge into an SUV.

Yes. The $89 diagnostic visit covers identifying the problem and your options. We give you an upfront quote in writing before any repair work begins — so you approve the fix and the price first.
You’ll hear what broke, what fixing it runs, and whether there’s a Plan B (e.g. part on order). No “mystery line items” on the invoice.
Sometimes. A straightforward fix can be finished at that visit. When the repair needs a part the technician doesn’t have with them, it takes a second trip once the part arrives.

APPLIANCES & BRANDS
Appliances & Brands
Household names from the big-box aisle through upscale lines. Peek at brands we repair; if yours isn’t listed, still reach out and we’ll tell you whether we can take it on.
If parts still exist and the shell isn’t rusted through, we’ll give it a shot. Sometimes the math says buy new—we’ll say that straight instead of billing you to band-aid a goner.
SERVICE AREA & SCHEDULING
Service Area & Scheduling
Los Angeles and surrounding cities, Santa Clarita, and nearby suburbs. Neighborhood list lives on Service Areas; edge cases (far valleys, etc.)—ping Contact with your zip and we’ll tell you yes or no.
It depends on the day’s schedule and where you are. Call and we’ll offer the earliest open appointment for your address, or book online anytime and choose an arrival window. You can also request a call back on our contact page.
Brand, model (sticker inside the door or on the frame), and a one-sentence symptom. Snap a photo of an error code or a leak if you can—it beats twenty questions at the door.
Use the customer portal on our Contact page—you’ll get a secure link by email or text to manage appointments, pay invoices, and send messages through House Call Pro.
REPAIR VS REPLACE
Repair vs Replace
Rule of thumb: if the repair is a third of new and the machine’s under ~10 years with no other gremlins, fix it. We’ll run the numbers with you after we’ve actually seen the unit—not from a script.
A proper fix on a compressor, motor, or control issue buys you real time—not just a patch until the next thing fails. We’re not in the business of limping machines along for repeat visits.
A high-end fridge with a bad fan isn’t the same decision as a budget dorm microwave. Premium gear is built to be serviced; replacement sticker shock alone makes repair the default unless the chassis is toast.
BEFORE THE VISIT
Before the Visit
Pull stuff away from the machine so we can open panels. Grab the model tag. If it’s beeping or flashing a code, write it down or photo it—that’s gold for the first five minutes on site.
Only if you can reach the plug without moving the unit dangerously. Gas ranges, hardwired ovens—leave power alone. We’ll isolate what we need when we’re there.
