2. Diagnostic visit. $89 for a standard residential appliance; $129 for a built-in unit or commercial equipment. A premium brand on its own doesn't make an appliance built-in.
3. Repair price before any work. The technician explains what failed and what the repair costs. Nothing is repaired until you say yes. If a repair doesn't make sense, for example a failed sealed system on an older refrigerator, we'll tell you.
4. Repair. Some repairs are finished on the first visit. When a part has to be ordered, we schedule the return visit once it arrives. Repairs come with our parts-and-labor warranty.

Before you call

• Find the model and serial tag: inside the fridge on a side wall or ceiling; inside the door rim of a washer or dryer; on the edge of a dishwasher door.
• Note any error code on the display, or take a photo of it.
• For a refrigerator that's warming up, check that the vents inside aren't blocked by food and that the doors close fully. If it's still warm after that, call us.
